Four complete schedules. Transparent assumptions. A downloadable guide.
Hypothetical calculation, not trading results. Every step assumes a profitable trade reaches its full target. Losses, costs and withdrawals are excluded. These counts are not days, a forecast or a probability of success. Real trading may never reach the target and can lose capital.
The balance threshold is JPY 3 million, not JPY 3 million profit. Software purchase prices and trading capital are separate.
Read the assumptions first
- Starting balance: JPY 50,000. Every row assumes one profitable trade reaches its full target.
- Modeled loss cap: 5% of that step’s starting balance; target distance is twice stop distance. The 5% input is not a risk recommendation, and an actual stop loss is not guaranteed.
- Modeled margin for the new position: at most 50% of the step’s balance. There are no pre-existing positions. This is not a calculation of the free margin of a real portfolio.
- Use the smaller risk-limited or margin-limited lot size, rounded down to 0.01 lot.
- No losing trades, spread, slippage, commission, swaps, taxes or withdrawals are included.
Five consecutive modeled 5% losses reduce JPY 50,000 to approximately JPY 38,689; ten reduce it to JPY 29,937, before costs. The schedules below do not model this downside or the probability of reaching the target.
Calculation sequence
- JPY pip value = contract size × pip-size convention × JPY conversion factor.
- Risk-limited lots = balance × 0.05 ÷ (stop distance × pip value).
- Margin-limited lots = largest size allowed by the model’s 50% margin cap.
- Model lots = the smaller limit, rounded down to 0.01 lot.
- Modeled loss = lots × stop distance × pip value.
- Modeled profit = lots × target distance × pip value.
- Ending balance = starting balance + modeled profit.

All FX rows stay below 5 lots: 1:3000 below 1 lot and 1:2000 from 1 to below 5 lots, with the lower leverage applied at an exact tier boundary.
